Great Show at the New Edinburgh Pub last night

P7300006

Thanks a million to Tracy and Paul for giving us the chance to come and play last night.  The venue was awesome, the staff were friendly, the food was great and the drinks kept flowing.  Although I don't think that the rowdies in the corner were having a good enough time.  I'm a little disappointed in myself for not bringing my camera and taking a few pictures.  I need to remember to do that.  If anyone came to the show and took some pics, please let me know - I'd love to post them.

Planning and Practice

So we're on a heavy schedule right now for practicing.  We're getting a healthy push towards our polished 3 hour set list.  It's not that I'm nervous (I know Glen isn't.  He's like a musical demi-god), it's just that learning a lot of songs is a lot of work.  I've never been excellent at memorizing so putting my inarticulate guitar skills together with a wandering mind, we're in the mood for dancing.

Peanut butter on lightly toasted bread anyone?

Whoa.  Too many cooks in the kitchen.  That's hard core musician slang for sliding one too many barbiturates down the old throat.  Look it up kids.  Don't live it if you can't like it.
